Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment curates and shares video stories that bring out the best of the human spirit. We create and distribute our video content under the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand, best known for the book series that has sold more than 500 million books worldwide during the past 23 years and consists of more than 250 published titles. Since our inception in January 2015, our business has grown rapidly and is profitable. Our 2016 revenue was $8.1 million, adjusted EBITDA was $3.8 million, and net income was $0.8 million. In October 2015, we premiered our first show, Chicken Soup for the Soul's Hidden Heroes on CBS. In 2016, we added Project Dad, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Original, which aired on Discovery's TLC network. In March 2017, we launched the CSS Network, our branded direct-to-consumer network. In June 2017, we entered into a three-year collaboration agreement with an affiliate of Ashton Kutcher; Kutcher will serve as an executive producer on two new television series.
