Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, which creates and distributes video content under the Chicken Soup for the Soul brand, raised $30 million by offering 2.5 million shares (10% from insiders) at $12 per share. The company originally filed to offer 0.9 million shares at $12, but offered the full 1.6 million additional shares it had registered. Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol CSSE. HCFP/Brenner Securities LLC, The Benchmark Company and Weild & Co. acted as lead managers on the deal.
