Xcel Brands, which licenses a portfolio of apparel brands, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $12 million in a public offering. The company currently trades on the OTCQX under the symbol XELB and its market cap is just over $80 million.
The New York, NY-based company, which was founded in 1989 and booked $18 million in sales for the 12 months ended September 30, 2014, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol XELB. Wunderlich Securities is the sole bookrunner on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
