Plymouth Industrial REIT, which will own rentals in 24 industrial buildings across five states in the Eastern US and Texas, filed on Monday with the SEC to raise up to $173 million in an initial public offering. Primary shareholders include founder, Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Witherell and founder and Chief Investment Officer Pendleton White, both former executives at Franklin Street Properties (NYSE: FSP). The Boston, MA-based company, which was founded in 2011, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol PLYM. Sandler O'Neill is the sole bookrunner on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
