We are a newly incorporated blank check company. We are focused on sponsoring the public listing of a company that combines attractive business fundamentals with, or with the potential for strong environmental, social and governance ESG principles and practices through a business combination. The concept of ESG investing is growing in significance amongst both institutional and retail investors. The practice of ESG investing began as socially responsible investing with investors excluding stocks or entire industries from their portfolios based on business activities such as tobacco production. We believe that ESG focused investing in the public markets is still at an early stage of development and has the potential for tremendous growth going forward. Our sponsor is an affiliate of TPG. While we may pursue an acquisition opportunity that does not fit within the mandates of relevant TPG funds in any business industry, sector or location, we intend to capitalize on the ability of our management team to identify, acquire and operate a business that could benefit from a hands-on lead shareholder who can identify and implement improvements and to help maximize the impact of its ESG principles and practices. Our management team has extensive experience in identifying and executing such full potential acquisitions in both North America and Europe and has done so successfully across a broad range of sectors.
