We are a blank check company. Our sponsor is controlled by an affiliate of Goldman Sachs and will be managed by the Permanent Capital Strategies team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“GSAM”), a business within the Consumer and Investment Management Division (“CIMD”). GSAH II will employ Goldman Sachs’ full range of resources to pursue opportunities across a variety of industries. Specifically, the Permanent Capital Strategies team will use the broad relationships and sourcing capabilities of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, GSAM’s Alternative Investment and Manager Selection (“AIMS”) group, GSAM’s Private Credit Group, Goldman Sachs’ Private Wealth Management (“PWM”) group, AYCO as well as third-party Investment Banks and other counterparties to identify potential opportunities for an initial business combination. We believe access to these differentiated channels provides us with best-in-class sourcing capabilities for GSAH II’s multi-sector mandate. While we plan to evaluate opportunities in many sectors, we believe particularly attractive opportunities exist in the Diversified Industrial, Healthcare, Technology, Media and Telecom, and Alternative Asset Management sectors.
