We are a targeted oncology company focused on developing novel cancer therapies targeting key signaling pathways that drive the formation and spread of cancer. Our programs focus on key cancer driver pathways that are well-validated in scientific literature but lack approved or effective therapies and therefore have the potential to address high unmet medical needs. By leveraging our deep understanding of discovery chemistry, translational science, and patient-centric drug development, we have built a deep pipeline of wholly owned and partnered programs focused on genetically defined or biomarker-driven cancers, which enables us to target specific patient populations that we believe are most likely to respond to treatment with our product candidates. Since we commenced operations in 2016, we have discovered or developed five oncology programs that include four product candidates in either IND-enabling studies or clinical development. Our lead targeted oncology product candidate, IK-930, is an oral small molecule inhibitor of the transcriptional enhanced associate domain, or TEAD, transcription factor in the Hippo signaling pathway. We intend to submit an Investigational New Drug application, or IND, to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, for IK-930 in the second half of 2021.
