FTAC Athena Acquisition Priced, Nasdaq: FTAAU

Blank check company led by SPAC veteran Betsy Cohen and Cohen & Co's Amanda Abrams targeting fintech (liquidated).

Industry: SPAC

First Day Return: +7.4%

Industry: SPAC

We are a newly incorporated blank check company. To date, our efforts have been limited to organizational activities as well as activities related to this offering. We have not identified any acquisition target and we have not, nor has anyone on our behalf, initiated any discussions, directly or indirectly, with respect to identifying any acquisition target. We have generated no operating revenues to date and we do not expect that we will generate operating revenues until we consummate our initial business combination. We currently intend to concentrate our efforts on identifying technology and financial services technology, or fintech, companies that power transformation and innovation. Our expertise lends itself well to pursuing platforms related to the financial services, real estate, insurance, ecommerce and related technology infrastructure sectors, but we are not required to complete our initial business combination with a business in these industries and, as a result, we may pursue a business combination outside of these industries. We expect to pursue global businesses but may also acquire a domestic company. We do not intend to acquire companies that have speculative business plans or are excessively leveraged.
