We are the largest owner and developer of mixed-use, master-planned communities in coastal California, based on the total number of residential homesites permitted to be built under existing entitled zoning. We are primarily engaged in the business of planning and developing our three mixed-use, master-planned communities, and our principal source of revenue is the sale of residential and commercial land sites to homebuilders, commercial developers and commercial buyers. We may also retain a portion of the commercial and multi-family properties in our communities as income-producing assets. We are the initial developer of our three communities that are designed to include approximately 40,000 residential homes and approximately 21 million square feet of commercial space over a period of more than 10 years. Our three mixed-use, master-planned communities are: (1) Newhall Ranch in Los Angeles County; (2) The San Francisco Shipyard and Candlestick Point in the City of San Francisco; and (3) Great Park Neighborhoods in Orange County.
