We are a blank check company. While we may pursue an acquisition opportunity in any business, industry, sector or geographical location, we intend to focus our search on the financial technology (FinTech), ecommerce software, and data and analytics sectors, which complement the expertise of our management team. Deep Lake Capital will focus on identifying businesses in the technology and the financial services industry with an enterprise value of $750 million to $1.5 billion, with significant emphasis on companies that are providing or changing technology for financial services, on organizations that facilitate and enable ecommerce, and on firms that leverage advanced techniques for managing data and analytics. We believe there are many companies benefiting from the emergence of disruptive technologies such as cloud computing, the rapid advancement of open source platforms and developer ecosystems, and the ability to leverage data and analytics. These businesses tend to have above-industry growth rates and would greatly benefit from access to public market capital and the sponsors’ extensive operational experience in both public and private companies. We will place significant emphasis on identifying businesses that drive returns through a sustainable competitive advantage, differentiated technologies, unique business models, a platform-based offering with the opportunity of continuous innovation, ESG responsibilities and attractive financial profile with high growth potential.
