Freescale Semiconductor, a global leader in embedded processing semiconductors and solutions, raised $783 million on Wednesday by offering 43.5 million shares at $18, below the range of $22 to $24. Freescale Semiconductor will begin trading Thursday on the NYSE under the symbol FSL. Citi and Deutsche Bank Securities acted as lead managers on the deal.
