Digital Domain Media Group, Inc., which creates computer-generated animation and digital visual effects for studios and advertisers, filed on Monday with the SEC to raise up to $115 million in an initial public offering. The Port St. Lucie, FL-based company, which was founded in 1993, booked $106 million in sales for the 12 months ended December 31, 2010. Digital Domain Media Group acquired a majority ownership stake in the issued and outstanding capital stock of Digital Domain, which had itself previously listed to go public in December, 2007. On Monday, Digital Domain issued a formal withdrawal request. Barclays Capital and Janney Montgomery are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
