MetroPCS Communications, which provides wireless communication service to more than two million subscribers, primarily in Florida, Texas and Northern California, filed for an IPO on Thursday. Bear Stearns, Banc of America, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley are slated to manage the deal for the Dallas-based company. Terms and timing have yet to be announced.
