In a sign of strong demand, Chinese quick service restaurant chain Country Style Cooking priced its offering of 5 million ADSs at $16.50, well above its original range of $12-$14, and 10% above its upwardly revised range of $14-$16. The company raised $82.5 million in gross proceeds, which will be used primarily for new restaurant openings in the Chongqing municipality and Sichuan province. BofA Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse acted as joint book-running managers for the IPO, and the stock is expected to commence trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "CCSC" on Tuesday.
