Medical services company ExamWorks Group files for $173 million IPO

ExamWorks Group, which offers independent reviews to its medical provider clients to assess insurance claims, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $173 million in an initial public offering. The Atlanta, GA-based company, which was founded in 2007 and booked $91 million in sales for the 12 months ended June 2010, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol EXAM. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Credit Suisse are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
