Rhino Resource Partners L.P., which operates thirteen coal mines located in Kentucky, Ohio, Colorado and West Virginia, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $91 million in an initial public offering. The Lexington, KY-based company, which was founded in 2003 and booked $420 million in sales last year, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol RNO. Rhino Resource Partners had previously attempted to go public in August of 2008 before postponing and then withdrawing in June of 2009 due to market conditions. Raymond James, RBC Capital Markets and Stifel Nicolaus are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
