Niska Gas Storage Partners LLC, the largest independent owner and operator of natural gas storage assets in North America, filed on Monday with the SEC to raise up to $403 million in an initial public offering. Since its inception in March of 2006, the Gridley, CA-based company has increased its gas storage capacity by 41 billion cubic feet (Bcf) to reach 186 Bcf. Niska Gas Storage booked $181 million in sales over the last 12 months and plans to offer 17.5 million units on the NYSE under the symbol NKA. No pricing terms were disclosed.
