Piedmont Office Realty Trust, a REIT that owns 73 office buildings in major US cities, raised $174 million by offering 12,000,000 shares at $14.50, below the range of $16.00 to $18.00. The company had originally planned to offer 18 million shares. Piedmont Office Realty Trust plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol "PDM." Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan acted as joint bookrunners on the deal.
