Global Defense Technology & Systems, which provides IT and engineering services to US defense and intelligence agencies, raised $60 million on Thursday by offering 4.6 million shares at $13, 13% below the midpoint of the proposed $14-$16 range. Global Defense Technology & Systems is expected to begin trading Friday on the NASDAQ under the symbol GTEC. Cowen & Company acted as lead manager on the deal.
