Cosan, the largest grower of sugarcane and the second largest ethanol producer in the world, filed for a U.S. IPO on Monday. The company already trades on the Novo Mercado segment of the Sao Paulo Exchange, and it plans to sell Brazilian depositary receipts (BDRs) on the Sao Paulo exchange concurrently with the U.S. offering. Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley are underwriting the deal.
