Upwork, a marketplace for businesses to hire and manage remote, filed on Thursday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.
The Mountain View, CA-based company was founded in 1999 and booked $229 million in sales for the 12 months ended June 30, 2018. It plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol UPWK. Upwork filed confidentially on June 4, 2018. Citi, Jefferies and RBC Capital Markets are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
