Spreadtrum Communications, a fabless Chinese semiconductor company that designs baseband processor solutions for the wireless communications market, announced the terms of its IPO Tuesday. The company plans to offer 8.8 million ADSs, including 800,000 from selling shareholders, with each ADS representing three ordinary shares. The company expects the ADSs to trade on the NASDAQ and the initial price per ADS to be between $11 and $13. Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers are bookrunning the deal.
