Trinity Merger, a blank check company formed by Trinity Investments to acquire a real estate business, raised $300 million by offering 30 million units at $10, as expected.
Units consist of one share of common stock and one warrant exercisable at $11.50. At the offer price, Trinity Merger commands a market value of $375 million.
CEO Sean Hehir and CFO Kevin Hayahi have led the company's sponsor, Trinity Investments, for 20 years.
Trinity Merger plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol TMCXU. B. Riley FBR acted as lead manager on the deal.
