Cloudera, which provides a cloud-based data analytics platform based on Apache Hadoop software, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $200 million in an initial public offering.
The Palo Alto, CA-based company was founded in 2008 and booked $261 million in sales for the 12 months ended January 31, 2017. It plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol CLDR. Cloudera filed confidentially on December 21, 2016. Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, Allen & Company, BofA Merrill Lynch, Citi and Deutsche Bank are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
