Banking on Buenos Aires: Grupo Supervielle files for a $100 million US IPO

Grupo Supervielle, an Argentinian bank with over $2 billion in assets, filed on Wednesday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering.

The Buenos Aires, Argentina-based company, which was founded in 1887 and booked about $28 million in net income for the 12 months ended September 30, 2015, plans to list on the NYSE. It did not disclose a proposed ticker symbol. Morgan Stanley and BofA Merrill Lynch are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
