Network session border control provider Acme Packet announces terms for IPO

Acme Packet, a provider of session border control to next-generation services such as as VoIP, announced the terms for its IPO on Friday. The Burlington, MA-based company plans to offer 11.5 million shares at a range of $6.50-$7.50. The deal has a proposed market cap of $447 million. Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan and ThinkEquity Partners are set to manage the deal. Timing has yet to be announced.
