Planet Fitness, a franchised low-cost gym chain with over 1,000 locations in the US, raised $216 million by offering 13.5 million shares at $16, the high end of the range of $14 to $16. Planet Fitness plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol PLNT. Planet Fitness initially filed confidentially on 3/25/2015. J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch, Jefferies and Credit Suisse acted as lead managers on the deal.
