Easterly Acquisition, a blank check company formed by Easterly Capital to acquire a financial services business, raised $180 million by offering 18 million units at $10.00.
Earlier this year, Easterly Capital brought Easterly Government Properties (DEA) public, and the REIT now trades 5% above its offer price.
Easterly Acquisition plans to list on the Nasdaq under the symbol EACQU. Citi acted as a lead manager on the deal.
