Rapid7, which provides enterprise network security software, filed on Thursday with the SEC to raise up to $80 million in an initial public offering.
The last security-focused enterprise software provider, CyberArk (CYBR), went public in September 2014. Its stock traded up 87% on the first day, and is now up nearly 300% from the offer price.
The Boston, MA-based company, which was founded in 2000 and booked $84 million in sales for the 12 months ended March 31, 2015, plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol RPD. Rapid7 initially filed confidentially on April 29, 2015. Morgan Stanley and Barclays are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
