H&E Equipment Services, a renter of heavy construction and industrial equipment, announced Thursday evening that it will offer 10.9 million shares at a range of $15 to $17. Assuming the stock prices at the midpoint, the company will have an initial market capitalization of $583 million. CS First Boston and UBS Investment Bank will be the lead managers on the deal. Timing has yet to be announced.
