Antero Resources, an E&P operating in the Marcellus Shale and the Utica Shale, raised $1.6 billion by offering 35.7 million shares (19% above the 30 million originally planned) at $44, above the range of $38 to $42. It is the second largest US IPO of the year, behind only Zoetis. Antero Resources plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol AR. Barclays, Citi, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Jefferies and Wells Fargo were the bookrunners on the deal.
