Athlon Energy, an Apollo-backed oil and gas E&P operating in the Permian Basin, raised $316 million by offering 15.8 million shares at $20.00, the high end of the range of $18 to $20. Athlon Energy plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol ATHL. Citi and Goldman Sachs led the underwriting team.
