Diamond Resorts prices IPO below the range at $14, raising $217 million

Diamond Resorts International, a timeshare company with more than 490,000 members and 296 destinations, raised $217 million by offering 15.5 million shares (10% insider) at $14, below the range of $16 to $18. Diamond Resorts plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol "DRII". Diamond Resorts International initially filed confidentially on 1/24/2013. Credit Suisse, BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Guggenheim Securities acted as lead managers on the deal.
