OCI Partners files for a $480 million IPO

OCI Partners, LP, the largest merchant methanol producer in the US, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $480 million in an initial public offering. The Nederland, TX-based company, which was formed in 2013 and booked $310 million in sales for the 12 months ended March 31, 2013, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol OCIP. BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Citi are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
