Antero Resources, an oil and natural gas company primarily focused in the Appalachian Basin in WV, OH and PA, filed on Thursday with the SEC to raise up to $1 billion in an initial public offering. The Denver, CO-based company, which was founded in 2002 and booked $246 million in revenue for the 12 months ended March 31, 2013, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol AR. Barclays, Citi, J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Jefferies and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
