Silver Spring Networks prices upsized IPO at $17 midpoint

Silver Spring Networks, which provides smart grid products and services to utilities, raised $81 million by offering 4.750 million shares at $17, the midpoint of the $16 to $18 range. The company had originally filed to offer 3.705 million shares. Silver Spring Networks plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol "SSNI". Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse acted as lead managers on the deal.
