Clean energy financing REIT Hannon Armstrong files for a $100 million IPO

Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital, a structured REIT that provides financing for clean energy projects, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering. The Annapolis, MD-based company, which was founded in 2012 and booked $17 million in sales for the 12 months ended 12/31/2012, plans to list on the NYSE. Hannon Armstrong Sustainable Infrastructure Capital initially filed confidentially on 11/9/2012. BofA Merrill Lynch, UBS Investment Bank and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint bookrunners on the deal. No pricing terms or ticker were disclosed.
