Ambarella, a fabless designer of chips for high definition video capture in cameras, raised $36 million by offering 6 million shares at $6, 40% below the midpoint of the $9-$11 range. Ambarella plans to list on the NASDAQ under the symbol AMBA. Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank acted as lead managers on the deal.
