Proto Labs sets IPO terms, seeking $60 million

Proto Labs, which manufacturers prototypes and low volume parts for product developers, announced terms for its IPO on Monday. The Maple Plain, MN-based company plans to raise $60 million during the week of February 20th by offering 4.3 million shares at a price range of $13.00 to $15.00. At the midpoint of the proposed range, Proto Labs would command a market value of $342 million. Proto Labs, which was founded in 1999 and booked $99 million in 2011 sales, plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol PRLB. Jefferies and Piper Jaffray are the lead underwriters on the deal.
