Laredo Petroleum, an oil and gas E&P with operations in the Permian and Anadarko Basins, raised $298 million by offering 17,500,000 shares at $17.00, below the range of $18 to $20. Laredo Petroleum plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol LPI. J.P. Morgan, Goldman, Sachs & Co., and BofA Merrill Lynch acted as lead managers on the deal.
