Intermolecular files for a $200 million IPO

Intermolecular, which aids in developing intellectual property for companies in the semiconductor and clean energy markets, filed on Friday with the SEC to raise up to $200 million in an initial public offering. The San Jose, CA-based company, which was founded in 2004 and booked $49 million in sales for the 12 months ended March 31, 2011, plans to list under the symbol IMI. Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and Barclays Capital are the lead underwriters on the deal. No pricing terms were disclosed.
