Emerald Expositions Events, the largest US operator of B2B trade shows and exhibitions, announced terms for its IPO on Monday.
The San Juan Capistrano, CA-based company plans to raise $295 million by offering 15.5 million shares at a price range of $18 to $20. At the midpoint of the proposed range, Emerald Expositions Events would command a fully diluted market value of $1.4 billion.
Emerald Expositions Events was founded in 1994 and booked $324 million in sales for the 12 months ended December 31, 2016. It plans to list on the NYSE under the symbol EEX. BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and RBC Capital Markets are the joint bookrunners on the deal. It is expected to price during the week of April 24, 2017.
